The Latest Project I've been silently working on a really fantastic food distribution plan for the Virginia Beach and Norfolk areas. It has been a slow struggle but we do see some good results very soon. I do know that the time has come to alert as many contacts as possible and to begin organizing the product flow. We really need to have recipient churches and organizations ready once the product starts to flow. Here are the details to date: We will have a warehouse located on Military Highway in VA Beach. The warehouse will be open Monday thru Saturday with the exception of Wednesday. While donations will be gratefully accepted, it is NOT a prerequisite for receiving goods. All bread and products are freely given to individuals and organizations in the community. All items in this program will be offered absolutely free of charge. We, in turn ask that no items be sold, but are freely given to the needy in the area. Our task now is to spread the news and to build a Southside directory of all churches, organizations and individuals that would like to be registered with us in helping to distribute these items to the community. This invitation is extended without geographic boundaries (Chesapeake, Peninsula, Smithfield, etc are all invited). Please pass along this exciting news. Every organization should send us an e-mail with their contact information. We will enroll them in the program and then announce the opening date to them with the details for distribution. Thanks for all the past interest and support. We are thrilled to acquire all this food and a distribution point for regular service to the community.
